President of the Swiss Confederation Ueli Maurer received Ambassador Hanum Ibrahimova

President of the Swiss Confederation Ueli Maurer received Ambassador of the Republic of Azerbaijan to the Swiss Confederation Hanum İbrahimova during the official New Year reception held in Bern for the Diplomatic Corps on behalf of the President of the Swiss Confederation.

In her conversation with the Swiss President, Ambassador Hanum İbrahimova conveyed New Year greetings and wishes by the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev to him, and congratulated President Ueli Maurer on his election as the President of the Swiss Confederation.

Thanking the Azerbaijani President for his greetings and wishes, President Ueli Maurer requested to deliver his greetings to President Ilham Aliyev.

He wished to the people and Republic of Azerbaijan success and prosperity in 2019.

They also had an exchange of views on a number of global and regional issues of mutual interest.
